What is Wirral Donate? We are a consortium of six charities serving the local community. The six charities involved provide a range of services for people from premature babies to pensioners, including people with care needs, autism, sight problems and multiple sclerosis. Our main objective is to raise funds through payroll donations and other means. The funds raised are distributed equally between our six member charities. Wirral Donate is run entirely by volunteers.

What can I do to help? Donate by Payroll Giving (sometimes known as Workplace
Giving or Give As You Earn) or donate by Standing Order or One Off donation.

What is Payroll Giving? It is an easy, tax efficient way of supporting your chosen
charity by making donations each pay day. By giving to us regularly from your pay or company pension, we automatically receive the tax you would have paid on the donation (your payroll department will sort this out for us) and we do not need to claim Gift Aid back, so less admin. for us and no direct debit needed from you. Payroll Giving is also the only way for anyone paying 40% or 50% tax to give us all the tax on their donation automatically. Some examples are given below:
