Wirral Donate - About Us - Donations

Wirral Donate was founded and registered as a charity in 1997. It is a consortium of local charities, some branches of national charities, raising funds largely through Payroll Giving but all supporting local people in need.

Wirral Donate is run by committee of trustees, comprising an independent chairman, as well as representatives of each of the member charities.

Other useful information:

Our committee has proved to be an especially useful forum for networking between the local charities.
The funds raised are distributed equally (usually annually) between the member charities.
Members are Age Concern Wirral, Crossroads Caring for Carers, Talking Newspapers for the Blind, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Wirral Autistic Society and Wirral Toy Library and Resource Centre.
We send newsletter to all our donors, normally twice each year, to update them on our members’ progress and how their financial support is being used.

As a committee we would like to extend our appreciation to all of our current donors, whose valued monthly contributions support a very diverse and local group of vulnerable adults, children and their carers.
