Donating to Wirral Donate
Ways of Donating
The preferred way of giving to Wirral Donate is through the Payroll Giving
scheme. If your employer or pension provider operates the government’s
Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme then tax will be credited automatically to
your gift at source (if you are a taxpayer) - see Payroll Giving below.
Alternatively you may choose to give by regular Standing Order payment or with a one-off payment by cheque. Your donation can be credited with Gift Aid if you are a taxpayer and have signed the Gift Aid section on the form - see Gift Aid options below.
Each method
of donating can allow your monetary gift to be grossed up for income tax,
if you are a current tax payer.
