Our aim is to assist the development, from the earliest age, of all special needs children - whatever their disability, through all forms of play activity

We lend toys and equipment for pre-school children with special needs. Many toys have been adapted to suit the needs of our children and in good weather the children enjoy playing in our specially equipped adventure playground.
When needed, our children receive physiotherapy and speech therapy. Our Occupational therapists can also advise on equipment and help at home.
We provide a sensory class for pre-school children, which is run by physiotherapists and speech therapists.
Our Premature Babies Group is open to all parents who have had, or at present have, a baby in a Special Care Baby Unit.
Parents are the most important people in a child’s life. We provide a relaxed and pleasant environment where parents and carers can meet to discuss and share their problems.
We provide in-house training for volunteers, parents and staff to enhance their understanding and skills to cope with the requirements of children with special needs.
